Responsibilities

• Evaluate,diagnose, and manage patients with malignant and nonmalignant hematologicconditions and solid tumors
• Developindividualized treatment plans and monitor patients throughout treatment andfollow-up care
• Coordinatecare with referring providers, other specialists, and supportive care teams
• Providepatient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, andongoing care
• Participatein the clinical education of internal medicine residents and medical students

Requirements

• MDor DO from an accredited medical school
• Completionof an accredited internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowshipby the start date
• BoardCertified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• CurrentArizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Eligibilityfor DEA registration and appropriate clinical privileges
