Litigation Paralegal Hiring Agency: PrideStaff (Hiring for a client) Location: Asheville, NC Position Type: Full-Time The Role Our client, a premier full-service law firm in Asheville, NC, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing practice. This role provides comprehensive case management support to litigation attorneys, assisting with all phases of matter acceptance, document drafting, discovery, docketing, and trial preparation within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. What You Will Do Assist attorneys with the organization, investigation, and management of litigation cases from intake through resolution. Draft court pleadings, complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests, interrogatories, correspondence, and legal memos. Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery, document reviews, online research, and evidence tracking. Maintain court dockets, track filing deadlines, manage case calendars, and follow up on pending case milestones. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel to support case progress. Organize and maintain detailed physical and electronic case files and documents. What You Will Bring 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience; appellate practice experience is a plus. Degree in Paralegal Technology or equivalent practical paralegal experience required. Active North Carolina Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain commission upon hire). Strong technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing, e-discovery platforms, and legal research tools. Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational, proofreading, and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team structure. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
