Assignment Details
• Start/end: January 1 - April 1, 2027
• Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours + call; daily hours TBD
• Coverage type: Clinical Hours + Call
• Call: Beeper call; frequency varies
• Call response time: 20 minutes
• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Facility: Level II Trauma Center
• Support: Pathology department support staff available
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: 45-120 days; temporary privileges available
Clinical Details
• Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services
• Surgical pathology interpretation
• Frozen section preparation and interpretation
• Grossing and cutting frozen sections
• GYN cytology
• Non-GYN cytology
• Fine needle aspirations (FNAs)
• Onsite evaluations for EBUS procedures
• Onsite evaluations for CT-guided biopsies
• Onsite evaluations for ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Autopsies not required
• Bone marrow pathology and hematopathology not required
• Blood bank, microbiology, and chemistry/serology coverage not required
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology
• No specific state license required to bid; appropriate ND licensure required before practice
• Surgical Pathology experience required
• Frozen section and grossing experience required
• GYN and non-GYN Cytology experience required
• FNA experience required
• Experience providing onsite evaluations for image-guided biopsies
• Availability for clinical coverage and beeper call
• Ability to meet a 20-minute call response requirement
Compensation
