Residential Shop Worker / Entry-Level Glazier Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and motivated Residential Shop Worker / Entry-Level Glazier to join our team. This position is responsible for reglazing, repairing, cutting, and manufacturing a variety of glass, screen, mirror, and window products in a shop environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn or expand their glazing skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Residential Manager for daily assignments
• Repair and reconstruct products to the highest quality standards
• Complete projects efficiently and on time
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Support the Insulated Glass Crew with unit assembly
• Help maintain inventory control and track incoming materials from suppliers
• Keep work areas organized and safe
• Maintain job records and documentation as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Glass cutting and handling
• Putty reglazing (single-pane windows)
• Wood sash reglazing (insulated glass units)
• Screen construction and repair
• Storm window construction (fixed and combination)
• Mirror fabrication
• Basic shop assembly procedures
• Ability to safely lift and move glass products

Qualifications

• Previous glazing, construction, manufacturing, or carpentry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
