Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 10-Hour Days

Job Summary K&S Staffing Solutions is hiring a Fireplace Technician Apprentice / Technician Assistant to support experienced technicians in the installation, service, and maintenance of fireplace systems. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in a skilled trade with hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and servicing of gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplaces
• Support venting system setup and inspections
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare job sites and maintain clean, safe work areas
• Follow technician instructions during service calls and installs
• Perform basic troubleshooting support and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
• Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Strong work ethic and team mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction or mechanical experience (preferred, not required)
• Basic hand/power tool knowledge
