Locums Urology Salisbury, MD (Active MD license required) Why This Role

• Thanksgiving + Christmas holiday coverage
• Two defined call blocks
• Inpatient Urology; no clinic
• Temporary privileges available
• Board Certified Urologists needed
Assignment Details
• Dates: November 25-27 and December 23-26, 2026
• Thanksgiving: November 25 at 7a - November 27 at 7a
• Christmas: December 23 at 7a - December 26 at 7a
• Availability: Must cover BOTH blocks; no partial coverage
• Coverage type: 24-hour Beeper Call
• Call ratio: 1:4
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Callback rate: Approximately 25%
• Volume: Approximately 10 patients/shift
• Call activity: Approximately 1-3 consults, 1-3 patients seen, and 1-3 admissions
• Setting: Inpatient Urology; Level III trauma center
• Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Temporary privileges available; timeframe TBD
Clinical Details
• Inpatient Urology consultations
• Emergency Urology evaluation and management
• Hospital admissions and inpatient rounding
• Urgent surgical evaluation and callback coverage
• General adult Urology experience preferred
• Endoscopic and laparoscopic Urology experience preferred
• Ureteroscopy and stone management preferred
• Robotic and advanced Urology procedures preferred
• Pediatric Urology experience preferred, not required
Requirements
• Board Certified in Urology
• Active Maryland medical license required
• BLS required
• Experience managing inpatient and emergency Urology cases
• Ability to meet 30-minute call response requirement
• Must be available for BOTH November 25-27 and December 23-26
• One physician must cover all requested dates

• Rate negotiable, open to your number
